Cleaning and maintenance

Olivia Rubin nurse shoes and stewardess shoes are made of grained cowhide and first-layer calfskin respectively. Dirt will only remain on the surface. If stains occur, wipe them with an alcohol pad immediately to keep the shoes fresh and clean.

When cleaning, you can use a soft-bristled brush or toothbrush dipped in baking powder and water, wipe the upper or side seams, and then place it in a ventilated place to dry.

When cleaning, do not soak the shoes overnight, and do not use a hair dryer to dry the shoes. Do not clean too frequently as it may damage the upper material or structure. Cleaning once every two to three months is enough.

Stretching exercises

Olivia Rubin can make you walk or stand easier, and if combined with appropriate stretching exercises, can effectively relieve the pressure on your legs and feet.
Below we've included some easy stretches that you can do at any time:

Stretch calves and heels

  1. Press the wall with both hands and stand in a lunge
  2. Flex the front foot, straighten the rear foot
  3. Feet on the ground, toes pointed forward
  4. Lean forward (this will stretch the surface muscles of the back of the calf and the heel)
  5. hold for thirty seconds
  6. Repeat the above actions while changing feet
  7. Rest for thirty seconds
  8. Repeat the entire set of actions ten times

Stretch calf soleus muscle

  1. Press the wall with both hands and stand in a lunge
  2. Feet slightly bent, soles touching the ground
  3. Keep your body straight and lean forward (this will stretch the deep muscles behind your calf)
  4. hold for thirty seconds
  5. Repeat the above actions while changing feet
  6. Rest for thirty seconds
  7. Repeat the entire set of actions ten times

Stretches calf and plantar muscles

  1. stand on two feet
  2. Keep your balance on a wall or chair
  3. Stand on tiptoes with both feet (you may consider lifting one foot)
  4. Stand on tiptoe and then slowly put it down (if you stand on tiptoe on one foot, you can change the foot)
  5. Repeat the entire set of actions ten times

exercise ankle

  1. sit on the chair
  2. Feet do not touch the ground, both feet are straight
  3. Turn your ankles ten times counterclockwise
  4. Then switch to ten turns clockwise
  5. Repeat the entire set of actions ten times
